New Wave of Brazilian Cuisine at Skylon

Festival Brazil (19 June-5 September) at the Southbank Centre celebrates the country's rich cultural heritage - including food! As part of this exciting festival, for two weeks, Skylon will be uniting with the inspiring, award-winning chef, Jose Barattino, from the swish Hotel Emiliano in Sao Paulo.

In Skylon Restaurant, Jose will be creating some of his signature, modern Brazilian dishes; in the Grill, the menu will include a selection of typical Brazilian dishes, whilst Skylon Bar will showcase Brazilian snacks and cocktails, including the inimitable Caipirnha. As part of his two-week, guest chef residency, Jose Barratino will also create a six-course Festival Brazil tasting menu to be served on the night of Skylon's third birthday celebrations in June.

Skylon Aperitif Cocktail Masterclass

Aperitifs (from the Latin, aperire, 'to open') have somehow fallen from favour. Allow Skylon's master mixologist, Zoran Peric, to show you how to reclaim Pernod, Campari, Martini and their ilk from the realms of Abigail's Party.
